A small archive in the heart of Munich
Two blocks from the Hauptbahnhof, opposite the old cycling-fair grounds where the 2007 summit staged its exhibition halls. Visitors should write ahead — the reading room holds only four desks.
Plan a visit
The reading room is open to credentialed researchers, journalists and policy fellows. Two seats are reserved each week for walk-in visitors on a first-come basis.
- U-Bahn: lines U1, U2, U7 — Hauptbahnhof exit, 4 min walk
- Tram: 18, 19 — Hackerbrücke stop, 6 min walk
- Bicycle: 60 stands outside, plus an indoor rack on request
- Step-free access via the courtyard entrance (ring bell twice)
